HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
We created a local paddleboarding group to bring people together for fun, social paddles and adventure, while also competing in national paddleboard racing events around the UK.
From SUP surf session to moonlit paddles, racing across the breadth of Scotland and working as a team at the UK SUP Club Championships.
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
Turtle Bay Paddleboards began sponsoring junior and adult racers and supporting the GB SUP National Junior Race Series to help inspire the next generation of paddlers.
Alongside building the brand, we continued competing in national races and events across the UK.
TEACHING, COACHING, SHARING.
We spent these years teaching, coaching and introducing hundreds of people to stand up paddleboarding.
From rivers and lakes to the coast, we helped complete beginners take their first steps and experienced paddlers level up their skills.
2026 & BEYOND
Today, Turtle Bay SUP & Surf combines over a decade of experience in coaching, board development, community and adventure.
We're passionate about helping beginners, supporting progression and bringing people together through social paddles, events, coaching, merch and more.
But more than anything, Turtle Bay SUP & Surf is a community and a lifestyle built around
a love of being on the water.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS
The Turtle Bay journey began with a simple goal, spending more time on the water and sharing that passion and experience with others.
With a background of kayaking and surfing, it was quickly apparent that Stand Up Paddleboarding would open up a whole host of "on the water" experiences.
BUILDING THE FOUNDATION
Turtle Bay Paddleboards was established from a passion for Stand Up Paddleboarding and a desire to make the sport even more accesible.
We started professional instruction, helping new paddlers build confidence, and began designing our own range of boards with a focus on quality, performance and affordability.
TURTLE BAY SUP & SURF SHACK
Our shop opened in Hastings, East Sussex - a hub for the local surf and stand up paddleboarding community.
It was a place for good advice, great gear, coaching and endless conversations about life on the water.
EXPLORING, LEARNING, REFOCUSING.
After closing the shop in 2023, we shifted the focus back to the experiences that started everything.
Private coaching sessions continued while we explored some of the best paddleboarding and surf locations in the UK and abroad, gaining new experiences and shaping the future of Turtle Bay.
